I know summer is coming and we are making all these plans for going somewhere with water and sand. Dana Bear and I have found that you need to really look for coupons, discounts, and promo codes, anything to save money.  Because these things are out there.  Whether it be for things from groceries to incontinence supplies .  Check your papers and online for these discounts.  A penny saved is a penny earned is a really good rule.  When I looked at Dana's receipts for what she bought this weekend and saw how much she saved, I became a believer in this theory.

I have this great back deck by the lake that is screened in so I don't get all the critters that bite, I just get to hear the noise of the frogs and such back here as I type away or entertain company.  The only thing is that I have a whole story under me that has no real lighting right on the lake.  It's part of my house, I guess you'd call it a basement that is not under ground.  Anyway that is where the grill is as the steps and all don't offer a space that will allow a grill.  I have a couple of little mini decks that are just good for a couple of people standing on as you go down the steps to the lake.  So I'm trying to figure out a way to light that area without electricity that will give us enough light for entertaining ourselves and others and at the same time not be a nuisance to our neighbors.  Any ideas?

While the economy is not doing well at least the prices on cars are coming down, so you might even be in line for a Ferrari.  And if you have one, the best thing to do is to keep it up and just, you know, keep it!  Instead of upgrading or whatever.  Take care of your ride is the idea these days so you won't have that extra expense of another car payment again.  Spending money on the upkeep of your car can be more economical than buying a new one.  Like if you need Ferrari parts or maintenance, these things are a lot cheaper than the car payment you'd have if you bought a new one, right?

Buy the wing portions already cut, they are on sale a lot and will save you much time and aggravation in trying to cut them.  Arrange them at least a half inch apart on a cooking sheet.  Season with your favorite course ground garlic and bake at about 425-450 for around 40 - 45 minutes.  Remove from oven and toss in your favorite hot wing sauce.  I recommend Emeril's, but whatever you like.  Serve with Ranch or Blue Cheese.
